The T20 World Cup will kick off on October 17 in the UAE, with India taking on Pakistan in the opening match on October 24. India will host New Zealand, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, and South Africa after the high-profile event is completed, providing plenty of cricketing activity at home.

The BCCI has already established a schedule for India's home series following the T20 World Cup. India will play New Zealand in three T20Is, two Tests, and the West Indies in three T20Is and two ODIs. Before facing South Africa in a five-match T20I series, India will play Sri Lanka in two Tests and three Twenty20 Internationals.

Although India's series has already been prepared, the final sanction will be given after a meeting with the relevant authorities on September 20. It's worth remembering that India's most recent international series at home was in February 2021, when England visited for a mega-series.
